Tarik Serpil to head Willis Towers Watson’s operations in Turkey

Willis Towers Watson has named Tarik Serpil as the new head of its business in Turkey...

In his new role, which he starts with immediate effect, Serpil will be responsible for growing and developing Willis Towers Watson Turkey across a range of business specialities developing solutions in the areas of people and risk.

 

Serpil joined Willis Tower Watson Turkey as Head of Corporate Risk and Broking in September 2016, and he will continue to serve in that role. He was previously with Marsh for 20 years in a variety of leadership and insurance broking roles.

 

Pamela Thomson-Hall, Head of Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA), Willis Towers Watson, said: "Turkey is a dynamic market with great potential, and Tarik has the strategic insight and leadership experience to further grow our capabilities there. He has elevated our corporate risk and broking business in recent years, and now his focus will be on developing our full range of client solutions."

The outgoing Head of Willis Towers Watson Turkey, Süha Alici, will remain with the company in a senior client-facing advisory role.
