Aon plc (NYSE: AON), a leading global professional services firm providing a broad range of risk, retirement and health solutions, today announces that Stephen Pett is to join its Reinsurance Solutions business in Bermuda.
Stephen will join the firm on September 15 as a Vice President and broker, focusing on industry loss warranties and other specialty reinsurance products. He brings more than 15 years of analytics and underwriting experience to the role, joining Aon from Nephila Capital, where he was a senior member of its underwriting team since January 2016, gaining expertise in global property catastrophe reinsurance underwriting and industry loss warranty trading, as well as assisting in underwriting planning, deal approval, and team management. During his career, Stephen has also held positions at reinsurers Ariel Re, Flagstone Re, and Montpelier Re.
In his new role, Stephen will report to Tony Fox, Chairman and CEO, Bermuda, for Reinsurance Solutions, who commented: “We are excited to welcome Stephen to our Bermuda team. His extensive experience across insurance-linked securities and traditional products perfectly complements Aon’s approach to providing our clients with a broad range of capital solutions and services.”
