She will be integral in driving compliance initiatives, as well as ensuring continuous implementation and enhancement of Ryan Specialty’s global regulatory and compliance program. Sara’s primary focus is to lead the Regulatory & Compliance division’s monitoring, testing, and risk assessments activities.
Sara joins Ryan Specialty with more than 25 years of insurance industry experience in compliance, risk management, underwriting, sales, and claims. Prior to Ryan Specialty, Sara was with Markel Corporation, a global specialty insurance carrier where she served as the Director, Claims Compliance. Prior to Markel, Sara served as Vice President, Claims Compliance for Chubb Insurance Group. In both roles, Sara provided strategic leadership to teams responsible for developing, implementing, and enhancing regulatory and compliance programs. Sara holds a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation, has a Master of Studies in Law, Corporate Compliance from Fordham University School of Law, and obtained her Bachelor of Science in Marketing from West Chester University of Pennsylvania.
