Neil Maidment wins lifetime achievement award
Neil Maidment, Beazley chief underwriting officer, was presented with the Lifetime Achievement Award at the Insurance Day London Market Awards held last night at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London...
This award is given to an individual who has shown career-long commitment to the London market by going above and beyond their day-to-day role and responsibilities.
Andrew Horton, CEO, Beazley commented: “We are delighted that Neil’s significant contribution to the London market has been recognised by this award. He is a very worthy winner. For the past 34 years, Neil has delivered exceptional service including his participation on the board of the Lloyd’s Market Association (LMA), which he currently chairs, and his role on the Council of Lloyd’s.
“Although he will be retiring from Beazley at the end of the year, we are delighted that Neil will continue to have an influence on the London market in his new position on the Lloyd’s board, from February 2019.”
