Jim Gloriod Named CEO of Aon U.S. Construction Services Group

Jim Gloriod has been named Chief Executive Officer of the U.S. Construction Services Group for Aon. Gloriod is responsible for U.S. Construction, Power and the Environmental practices...

Gloriod will also work closely with the Global Construction and Infrastructure division, led by Geoff Heekin, to ensure that the U.S. and global businesses are properly aligned.


Over the course of Gloriod’s 20 years with Aon, he has held various leadership roles, including Resident Managing Director of St. Louis. Additionally, he has served as a vital leader to some of Aon’s largest Power and Construction clients. Last September, Gloriod was promoted to president of the U.S. Construction Services Group under Kevin White’s leadership. Since then, Gloriod has worked in partnership with White and other Aon leaders to develop strategies that have strengthened the firm’s leadership position in the construction sector and ensure a smooth transition into his new role.

White will continue to play an active role on the team, serving as a Strategic Advisor to Aon’s Construction Services Group with a focus on clients and colleagues in the Northeast.

Gloriod holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from Trinity University and a Juris Doctorate from St. Louis University School of Law. He is also an Advisory Board Member for McCarthy Building Companies, which is ranked as the 15th largest domestic general contractor.


Aon’s U.S Construction Services Group has more than 475 colleagues that represent more than 1,400 clients, which includes seven of the top 10 ENR contractors and more than 35 percent of the top 100 ENR contractors.
