Mr. Piatti will be responsible for originating and driving opportunities to better serve our clients in the customized reinsurance space across Europe and MENA, including structured reinsurance treaties and capital management/solvency-related transactions. As clients look to further optimize their reinsurance programs, Guy Carpenter is continuing to enhance its ability to create such customized products.
Based in Zurich, Mr. Piatti will work closely with Guy Carpenter’s broking and analytics teams across the region, and will report to Frank Achtert, Head of Strategic Advisory, EMEA, and Ronnie Carroll, Managing Director, Global Risk Solutions.
Mr. Piatti is a seasoned, respected expert in structured risk and legacy and brings over 20 years of reinsurance market experience to the role. Prior to joining Guy Carpenter, he was Head of European M&A at Armour Risk Management Ltd, and has also held senior positions at MS Amlin, Amlin Re Europe and Partner Re.
