In this role, Mr. Toffanello will be responsible for managing Guy Carpenter’s business activities across Japan. He will focus on developing new business opportunities and extending the breadth of solutions that the Company offers across the region to better meet evolving client needs. Mr. Toffanello will report to Tony Gallagher, CEO of Asia Pacific at Guy Carpenter. He will relocate to Tokyo as soon as the situation allows.
Mr. Toffanello has over 25 years of experience in the reinsurance industry. Most recently, he was Managing Director for Property & Casualty for the UK, Ireland, Italy and Sub-Saharan Africa at Gen Re. Prior to this, he was Managing Director and CEO of Gen Re Australia and Regional Manager for Property & Casualty treaty business for Asia and the Pacific region. He was also previously CEO of Faraday.
