Global Women in Technology Collaborate to Innovate at Summit

The summit continued its tradition of bringing together women in technology from AIG locations across the globe to encourage technological innovation through collaboration.
Among the highlights of the summit, Jenn Gustetic, former Assistant Director for Open Innovation at the White House, talked with the over 100 participants about how the U.S. government is using crowdsourcing to solve everyday problems. In addition, Faye Sahai, GWIT Executive Advisor and Global Head of Innovation, moderated a panel discussion featuring AIG technology leaders Janet Cahill, IT Chief Operating Officer; Annabelle Bexiga, Business Information Officer for Commercial IT; and Mike Brady, Chief Technology Officer. The panel addressed the main areas of focus for technological innovation at AIG: Internet of Things, drones, financial technology, cybersecurity, and advanced analytics for? infrastructure improvements.
Other activities included demos of new tools including Think Tank and Office 365.
Tangie Louis, lead of the GWIT Houston chapter, commented: “To come together in person , with the goals of collaborating and exploring ways to promote GWIT in our local chapter, was an enriching experience.”
