Founded in 1999, CFC was one of the first in the market to offer cyber insurance. Over the years the business has expanded to offer more than 50 products across 20 different classes of insurance, with a particular focus on emerging risks brought on by the intersection of technology and industry. CFC now has one of the largest technical cyber security and incident response teams in the market, CFC Response, and operates the market’s first cyber incident response mobile app.

Launched in 2019, CFC’s award-winning trading platform, Connect, uses advanced automation and data science to deliver streamlined quoting and smarter, faster underwriting. In 2021, the company established a Lloyd’s syndicate, CFC Syndicate 1988, and the following year, CFC opened a dedicated Innovation Hub supporting more than 100 software engineers, developers and data scientists.
