The platform, which is already popular with brokers in the UK and France, will enable brokers to access Beazley’s specialist insurance products online, including management liability (ML), professional indemnity (PI) and cyber cover.
Lorena Segovia, Beazley’s regional manager, continental Europe – international financial lines, said: “Beazley has applied its expertise in ML, PI and cyber insurance to create simple, specialist products that can be sold separately or as a package for brokers looking to work through an online channel to secure quick and efficient quotes.”
Francisco Antonio Alcaide, specialty lines underwriter and lead for myBeazley in Spain, added: “Using the platform, brokers can now quote and bind policies for businesses with a turnover of up to €350m without the need to speak to an underwriter and in just four steps.”
The cyber cover is a service-led offering, which includes Beazley Breach Response (BBR). BBR is Beazley’s comprehensive cyber product, which gives policyholders access to a range of pre and post breach risk management services designed to help an organisation prepare for, and respond quickly to, a data breach or cyber-attack. The BBR package offers access to legal, data protection, forensic IT and PR advice alongside traditional financial protection.
The management liability cover includes directors’ & officers’ (D&O) liability, crime and employment practices insurance covers for commercial organisations. The ML package also includes website recovery – a technical support service that helps clients get their website up and running as quickly as possible if it suffers a denial of service attack.
All products on the myBeazley platform are underwritten by Beazley’s A-rated European insurance company, Beazley Insurance dac, and are also available through Beazley’s Lloyd’s syndicates.
