Expert underwriter Evan Pollock has joined specialist insurer Beazley as Lead Product Recall Underwriter. Evan comes to Beazley from Chubb Insurance, where he was Senior Underwriter for Product Recall, and is based out of Beazley’s Toronto office.
Beazley will launch its Product Recall product offering to the Canadian market this November – the latest specialty insurance product in its expanding portfolio in Canada. The new product range includes coverage for consumable products, consumer goods and component parts.
Commenting on his appointment, Florian Beerli, Head of the Specialty Risks & US Programs team at Beazley, said: “Product recalls can have a serious and lasting impact on both reputation and profits, so it is important that specialist support is available to businesses when needed. Having an underwriter with Evan’s experience and technical expertise will help us to drive growth of our product recall products across the region, and we welcome Evan to the team.”

The Product Recall insurance offering will be available in Canada November 2021.
