Beat Capital Partners Americas has announced the appointment of Jon Beckham as president...

Beckham assumes his role with immediate effect and will report to April Galda Joyce, CEO of Beat Capital Partners Americas.

Having amassed more than two decade’s worth of extensive industry experience predominantly in the global MGA space, Beckham will play an integral role in shaping Beat’s U.S. footprint. He joins Beat having previously held a number of senior roles, most recently North America CEO for DUAL Group, which followed his tenure as director.

Joyce said: “Beat is an incubator for ambitious entrepreneurial underwriters looking for start-up financing, plug and play infrastructure, A+ rated paper, expertise and a structure built solely to help them thrive. Jon’s background in building successful MGAs, coupled with his wealth of knowledge and stellar market reputation, makes him an asset to our future partners as well as an invaluable addition to Beat. I look forward to working with him as we replicate our success in both the UK and Bermuda and grow our long-term U.S. MGA portfolio.”

Beckham said: “This is an incredibly exciting time in the MGA and program administrator space, with top quality talent and smart, sustainable capital entering the market. Beat has an unrivalled model and platform and is primed to take full advantage of the burgeoning opportunities in the U.S. market. I am delighted to be joining the Beat team to identify key talent, recruit top-tier underwriters and their teams and to foster innovative businesses.”
