Aon Names John McElroy as Head of Bermuda Casualty Team

McElroy will join the firm as Head of Casualty and will be based in Bermuda, reporting to Tony Fox, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Bermuda, of Reinsurance Solutions.  

Bringing 30 years of industry experience, McElroy had previously held several positions at Allied World Assurance Company, most recently as Executive Vice President, Global Insurance. He had also served at Gulf Insurance Company as Senior Vice President and Head of its Management Liability Department.

Commenting on McElroy’s appointment, Fox said: “John brings with him an impressive amount of experience in the casualty sector, and we believe this will be important in helping our clients to navigate the evolving exposures in this area.”
