Give us an overview of your role, what do you do on a day-to-day basis?
I’m responsible for all of the content previews that the user can see on the site and app. This involves the upload and upkeep of content from our client companies and publications, as well as the various third party sources we use. We have built an automated funnel, and I manage the manual process that sits between that and what makes it onto the site.
What is the most interesting part of your job?
Going through a vast amount of news sources allows me to be on the ball regarding current affairs as well as picking a few interesting articles for myself that I wouldn’t usually spot otherwise.
What keeps you busy outside of work?
I dance and have been doing so for about a year and a half now - working on all sorts of styles for a big show in April! Also I love music, so like to go to gigs when I can.
If you could have lunch with anyone in the world, ever, who would it be?
I would probably say Madonna. In addition to being my favourite artist, she is someone who has been through it all and rubbed shoulders with everyone from Warhol to Tupac. Also, as someone who celebrates being unapologetically herself without filter, I’d be bound to get some amazing stories!
What's top on your bucket list?
I’d love to do a tour of Japan. I have been fascinated by Japanese culture ever since I was a kid and would love to get a more authentic perspective than just what is shown in the media.
Is it true that you are quite a force in a karaoke bar?
Having my voice be constantly mistaken for Beyonce can be tiring but I deal with it!
