The exhibition comprises more than 240 pieces of work by artists who work in Lloyd’s of London or the London insurance market, or are directly related to someone who does.
The exhibition is open between 30 November to 5 December 2020 and all art is for sale, with 20 percent of proceeds going to the charity Coombe Trust. The trust runs The Artful Pelican gallery in South East London, which provides a workshop, materials, friendship and opportunities for homeless or vulnerable artists, and Street Souls, which provides hot food, sleeping bags and advice to the homeless.
This year, Aon colleague Phaedra Kouseli will once again be presenting her art. Phaedra started working in ceramics about four years ago, and her technique explores throwing and hand-building where she combines or alternates between the two approaches to achieve the desired form. All of the pieces that Phaedra is exhibiting this year were produced during the UK’s lockdown, helping her to stay grounded and hopeful during this challenging time.
